I then wired the radio body using a tap-a-fuse adapter. This is a connector that plugs into an existing fuse socket and adds a
second fuse and flying lead for connecting an additional circuit. I drilled a small hole in the bottom edge of the plastic fuse
box so that the power line could feed under the dash. The 12v return line connects to a bolt that secures the dash to the car
frame just under the fuse box.

The satellite receiver and transceiver control head mount to the brackets as shown below. The harness routes under the
center console panel and out beside the passengers seat. I also added a 3-outlet cigarette lighter box to the underside of the
dash on the passengers side. One outlet is for the satellite receiver, one for my GPS, and one for my cellphone charger.
